Ans: Yes Data Science is a field that is in vogue. But key would be to do a post graduation at a later phase.

Ans: First step would be to secure a job as you will have some job experience in case you plan to do a job at a later stage. Secondly do post graduation in area of your interest. If you are not sure then can do MBA. But your gap years may create problem at later stage to get a job. So would recommend you to do some short term job oriented courses and look out for a job.

Ans: Look at what area you are interested in and can pursue accordingly. If you are not sure then can pursue MBA as it will give you more options regarding job including in IT or Data Science.

Ans: Can do either. For India JEE could have a higher chance of success as Sports does face some bottle neck in the future. Focussing on sports could lower your academic scores which could create problem in getting admission to B school. Though I had a students who was pursuing professional sports and did graduation through distance learning due to which he had bad acads. He still managed to secure admission to XLRI Delhi one of the top 10 MBA colleges in India.
