I gave JEE(main) in 2025. I got qualified. But I have one year gap between 10th and 12th means I have passed 10th in 2022 and 12th in2025. Is there any requirement for gap certificate during getting admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs?

Ans: If you have a one-year gap between 10th and 12th, a gap certificate or affidavit is generally required during admission or counseling for IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs to explain the break in studies. This document confirms the legitimacy of the gap and is usually notarized. It is not needed during JEE Main registration but must be presented during document verification in counseling. Failure to provide it may affect admission. You can obtain the certificate from a local notary by submitting an affidavit stating the gap duration and reasons. Prepare this certificate in advance to avoid last-minute issues. All the best for your admissions and a bright future!

Ans: If you completed your 12th in 2022 and are now appearing for the NEET exam in 2023, you will require a GAP certificate for your counselling. To apply for a GAP certificate, the aspirant has to submit some crucial ID proof documents. A copy of these documents should be submitted along with the application form for the GAP certificate.
Some documents to submit while applying for the same:
- ID Proof (PAN Card/Aadhar card/Voter ID/Driving license)
- School/College leaving certificate
- A letter from the last educational institute (Authentication declaration)
- Residential address proof
- Citizenship proof
- Marksheet of last qualifying exam
- The reason for the GAP years

I have 3 gaps between 12th and btech cse as i was preparing for neet in those gap years. Unfortunately i couldn't crack neet.Will these gaps years affect during on campus placements??

Your gap years will not significantly affect your placement prospects as long as you can convincingly present your story and demonstrate that you’ve made the most of your B.Tech journey. Stay focused on building a strong profile, and you’ll have a good chance of landing desirable opportunities. Be Honest & Explain your NEET preparation journey during interviews. Emphasize the hard work, dedication, and discipline involved in preparing for such exams. You were trying for Govt. MBBS seat only.

Build a strong academic record during your B.Tech years to demonstrate your technical competence.
Work on practical skills like programming, software development, and problem-solving through internships, projects, and certifications. Participate in hackathons, coding competitions, or other extracurricular activities to showcase your proactive attitude and create a strong CV.

I have done pcb in class 12th then i gave neet for 3 drops and failed..i was getting course adm beside mbbs bds in private colleges but i didnt took it now i dont want to study all this..im thinking now to give cat..I'm thinking to take bcom in finance and accounting from local colleges in city should i go for it or not? Im confused? Or should i opt for agriculture, bsc nursing, pharma for 4 yrs for job security bt I'm worried of my age because I'm a girl..also i applied for BA IN IGNOU last year now I'm thinking go for offline bcom so that i can learn something and do some extracurriculars bt it will increase my 1 drop year also i want to ask that what should i do for make me profile good..i have 76% in 10th 70% in 12th

Ans: Can do 3 year BCom course and then prepare for MBA entrance exam like CAT. Do a specialised course like agriculture or nursing only if you are interested in it.

In 2023 I had given Ipmat exam along with Narsee Mojee and Mit for bba programee. I got selected in both narsee monjee and mit and got 30 marks less than the cut off in ipmat. Then in 2024 i had taken admission in a private college for bba and had given ipmat once again. And i had failed once again. Now I got stuck in this college for 2 more years. And is blind regarding what to do in future. Thinking about Cfa but its is costly and I cant afford to fail more than once in it.

Ans: Can do CFA course now along with your BBA. You can simultaneously start preparing for CAT26. Your IPMAT preparation would help you for CAT.

I pursued commerce in 12th and got 79 percent with maths in 12th i was preparing for Ipmat and got 245 marks in obc category and also got selected in nmims and mit for bba programme . But later i decided to get a dummy college for bba and once again prepare for ipmat but now i failed in the exam and i got stuck in the tier 3 college. I am confused what to pursue next . I am confused between cfa . Cat or mba from abroad.

My son got less than satisfactory marks in 12th board but has got chance in a private engineering college in biomedical engineering b.tech after scoring very good marks in their entrance exam. Please let me know about the prospects of B.tech in BME.

Ans: Biomedical Engineering - the scope is working in hospitals or companies that manufacture and sell these equipment. In India as of now there is not much scope for research in this field.

Ans: Both the colleges you mentioned are extremely good. As a college I would rate Ferguson as a better college but for technology Ramya institute would be a better option.
