My daughter secured 89.9266019 under OBC category in Jee Mains 2025.Which are the NITs,IIITS & GFTIs she can try for ECE through JOSAA counselling?

Ans: With an 89.93 percentile (OBC JEE Main rank ~87,500), your daughter can target ECE in mid-tier NITs like NIT Agartala (2024 OBC cutoff: 8,982), NIT Goa (6,777), or NIT Hamirpur (6,647) via JoSAA. Lower-tier NITs such as NIT Sikkim (12,628), NIT Manipur (12,615), and NIT Mizoram (13,285) are also feasible. For IIITs, options are limited due to higher cutoffs (e.g., IIIT Pune ECE OBC: ~7,985), but newer IIITs like IIIT Bhagalpur or IIIT Agartala may consider her rank. GFTIs such as Assam University Silchar (Agri Engg OBC: 37,808) or SLIET (Civil Engg OBC: ~29,000) offer alternative pathways. Focus on NITs with higher seat availability and lower historical cutoffs during JoSAA choice filling. All the BEST for your Daughter's Admission & a Prosperous Future!
