मान लीजिए मेरी माँ अपने पिता से विरासत में मिली ज़मीन को 1 करोड़ में बेचती है और मुझे 20 या 30 लाख उपहार के रूप में देना चाहती है, तो क्या वह राशि कर योग्य होगी? और क्या मेरी माँ को मुझे हस्तांतरित करने से पहले अपने खाते में राशि लेने की ज़रूरत है या क्या खरीदार सीधे उस राशि को मेरे खाते में भेज सकता है। साथ ही, क्या माँ द्वारा प्राप्त राशि (1 करोड़) को बचत से पूंजीगत लाभ खाते में स्थानांतरित किया जा सकता है या उसे पहले पूंजीगत लाभ बैंक खाता खोलकर इसे प्राप्त करना चाहिए।

शेष राशि वह आपको उपहार में दे सकती है और आपको इस पर कोई कर नहीं देना होगा क्योंकि आप रक्त संबंधी हैं।
