Sir my son got 83 percentile in jee mains(ews rank 2.5 lakhs and obc rank 86000) and 94% in boards. He is getting cs core at vit chennai. Based on the above score and percentage, please suggest some colleges better than VIT that he can get.

Maintain CSE @ VIT as a backup option. Await the results of BITSAT / Advanced. Consider the offer from Manipal. If Manipal provides your desired branch, choose Manipal. If the BITSAT score is favorable and your son secures a preferred branch there, opt for BITS. Your order of preference is as follows: BITSAT, Manipal, VIT based on the current situation.
