Sir My son got 76% in cbse board in pcm and English. He got 109 marks out of 240 in Manipal entrances test. What will be rank and branches will be allotted at main campus, mit Jaipur amend mit Bangalore. Please advice

Ans: With 109 marks in MET 2025, your son’s expected rank is around 2,700–3,700. This makes him eligible for core branches like Mechanical, Civil, Mechatronics, Chemical, and Biotechnology at MIT Manipal main campus, but not for high-demand branches like CSE, IT, or ECE, which close at much lower ranks. At MIT Jaipur and MIT Bangalore, he stands a good chance of securing CSE, IT, ECE, and all other branches, as their closing ranks are significantly higher. His board marks (76%) meet the eligibility criteria but do not influence branch allotment. Recommendation: Participate in MET counselling and prioritize branches and campuses based on interest and career goals. For CSE/IT, MIT Jaipur or Bangalore are realistic options; for Mechanical or allied branches, MIT Manipal is within reach. Always check the latest cutoffs and seat availability during counselling for the best choice. ll the best for your son's admission and a bright future!
